Have You Checked Your Radiator Recently?
November 26, 2002.

When was the last time you checked your radiator? No, I'm not talking about the radiator under the hood of your car. What I am talking about is your internal radiator. Just like the radiator in your car, your internal radiator must be kept in tip top condition in order to work at peak efficiency. So let’s check out how your ‘radiator’ is working today.

Do you continually radiate enthusiasm to those around you? The very best realize that enthusiasm can be highly contagious, so they look to spread it around at every opportunity. There’s no doubt about it, a super charged, enthusiastic approach to life will motivate and inspire those around you.

Do you radiate positive energy all day long? Winners regularly plug into 24 Hour Positive Power and so should you. Only this type of super charged, super excited, super fired up outlook on the life can provide the eternal energy that will keep you going through thick and thin.

Do you radiate a constant supply of optimism and encouragement, always exhibiting an unfaltering can do spirit? Winners believe they can do it and their ebullient, energetic approach gets others around them to believe they can do it as well.

Do you radiate a sense of self confidence to those around you? A winner's quiet self confidence reassures one and all that he or she is in total control.

Do you radiate a warm, friendly feeling to others, making sure you are a pleasure to be with and be around? You will discover that when you continually treat others with dignity and respect, your relationships with others will flourish.

How did you do on the test? Does your radiator measure up? If your present radiator isn't getting the job done, maybe it is high time that you shipped that beat up, worn out radiator off to the junk yard and exchanged it for a new and improved, ready to rock and roll model. Then once the new radiator is in place, you still need to maintain it properly. Here is a three point checklist you can use to keep your radiator working at peak efficiency.

You want to surround yourself with positive people. It is a whole lot easier to be positive and stay positive when you are continuously immersed in a positive environment.

You should develop a child like enthusiasm for life once again. You need to rediscover how to love life and how to live life to its fullest potential. When you do, you will find that being enthusiastic is just good old fashioned fun.

You should learn how to enjoy people and relationships. People are the best thing about life. Without people, there is no living and there is no life. When you constantly seek out the good in people, you’ll find it – and more.

When you follow this maintenance routine, your well tuned radiator will continue to radiate enthusiasm, energy, optimism and confidence for years and years to come.

None are so old as those who have outlived enthusiasm.
Henry David Thoreau
