Power Up Passages

A Winning Combination.

Brought to you by
The Power Performance Program ©

November 5, 2010.

"Winning can be defined as the science of being totally prepared." George Allen

Are you getting where you want to go? Doing the things you want to do? Achieving the level of success you seek?

Do you feel like a winner? Do you view your life as a portrait of triumph and achievement? Do you see yourself as a player, a doer, an achiever; as a mover and a shaker?

Or have defeat, despair and disappointment become your calling card?

If you're not winning as much as you like, not winning as often as you desire, or not winning at all, maybe you're not working with a winning combination.

"The will to prepare is as important as the will to win." Bud Wilkinson

Ask any winner and they will quickly tell you that winning doesn't come easy. Nor does it happen by accident. Winning only happens when you make it happen.

Winning is not a sometime thing. Not a once-in-a-while thing. Not something you sort of want, or kind of do. Winning is an attitude, a mindset, a way of life. You have to be all about winning, all about doing your very best, before you'll start winning on a consistent basis.

If you're not totally committed to winning, chances are pretty good you won't. If you're not completely focused on winning, the odds are fairly high that you'll come up short. If you're not fully prepared to do whatever it takes to get the job done, winning may prove quite elusive indeed.

"To be prepared is half the victory." Miguel de Cervantes

Looking for a winning combination? Then try these on for size.

1. Winning requires relentless preparation. Always has, and it always will. That means putting forth countless hours of effort, focus and dedication. If you're not willing to put in the time and effort to PREPARE to win, you'd better get used to losing. Real used to it as a matter of fact.

2. Winning requires a winning outlook. If you're going to make winning your way of life, an upbeat approach is not an option. You've got to believe you're going to win even when you're knee deep in losing. Even when there looks like there is no way out, when you're hanging on by a thread, when everyone else has given up hope, youve got to believe - and keep believing - that you're going to come out on top.

3. Winning requires a can-do attitude; an attitude that believes that everything is possible, that nothing is out of reach. Regardless of the obstacles you encounter, the problems that surround you, the difficulties you face, you've got to believe youre going to prevail. And believe it with all of your heart.

"There is one quality that one must possess to win, and that is definiteness of purpose, the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to possess it." Napoleon Hill

Want to win? Want to succeed? Want to make your dreams come true? Then start playing the game of life like a winner; the winner you were destined to become.

You've got to be willing to lay it all on the line.
To dig your heels in and fight for all you're worth.
To give it all you've got - and absolutely refuse to lose.

You've got to expect to win. And expect it with all of your heart.
You've got to prepare to win. And prepare with all of your might.
You've got to play to win. And play with all of your soul.

Get this winning combination working for you and you'll get it going. And start winning like it's going out of style.

The Bottom Line: Winning happens as soon as you do.
