Power Up Passages

Starting Right Now.

Brought to you by
The Power Performance Program ©

December 23, 2009.

You never plough a field by turning it over in your mind. Proverb

Most of us wish we had more. We wish we had more money, more material possessions. In fact, we wish we had more of just about everything. We wish we had a better job, a better car, a better house; a better this and that and the other. When it comes to wishing, we've got it down pat.

We're not all that bad at hoping either. In fact, we're pretty good at it. Most of us hope for a better life, a happier life, a life where all of our dreams come true. We hope we'll strike it rich, find the perfect mate and live a life of bliss. We can hope with the best of them.

And we rarely take a back seat to anyone when it comes to wanting either. We want what we wish for; we want what we hope for. In fact, we want all kinds of stuff. We want and want and want some more. And we want it right now.

"There is hope in dreams, imagination, and in the courage of those who wish to make those dreams a reality." Jonas Salk

Yet, in spite of our limitless ability to wish, hope and want, many of us live unfulfilled lives. We don't always get the things we wish for. We don't always live the lives that we hope for. And we don't always get the things we have always wanted. Sometimes we don't even come close.

So what's the deal?

How can we picture the things we want so clearly in our minds - and yet still not have them? How can we FEEL the things we want to accomplish so strongly within - and yet still far well short of achieving them? How can we so clearly IMAGINE all of our dreams deep down in our hearts and souls - and yet still never manage to bring them to life?

It's not that we don't want them badly enough. And it's not that we dont deserve them either. So what is it? Why aren't we living the lives we've wished for, the lives we've hoped for? The lives we have always wanted?

Maybe, just maybe, we need to stop spending so much time wishing, hoping and wanting - and start spending a lot more time getting something done.

"We will receive not what we idly wish for but what we justly earn. Our rewards will always be in exact proportion to our service." Earl Nightingale

The only sure-fire way to get more in life is to do more. But not just anything mind you, but the things that breathe life into our dreams. We need to start doing more with what we have; right here, right now. We need to stop complaining about what we don't have or what we supposedly can't do - and get busy making tracks towards our goals and aspirations.

We need to stop sitting around wishing - and start doing instead. We need to stop hoping for the best - and start making the best come to life. We need to stop wanting something great to happen - and start making it happen today.

We need to take matters into our own hands and start living life at full throttle.

"Many of us spend half our time wishing for things we could have if we didn't spend half our time wishing." Alexander Woollcott

Is there something you have always wished you could do? Maybe a bunch of somethings? Then why aren't you doing them? All the wishy-washy wishing in the world isn't going to make them happen. You are the only person who can make them come alive. So stop procrastinating. Stop dilly-dallying around. Stop waiting for the right time or the right place. And go get them.

And go get it right this minute.

Is there something you have always hoped would happen? Something that is so amazing, so extraordinary, so ineffably incredible that words can scarcely describe it. So what are you waiting for? You've got to stop sitting around hoping it will somehow show up at your door. You've need to get off of your duff and go pursue it with unbridled passion.

And make it happen.

Is there a special something that could enrich your life with untold happiness and joy, something you have always wanted? A special something that could make your life all you've dreamed it could be and more? Something so wonderful, so spectacular, so real that you can feel it, see it, sense it; almost taste it. But all the wanting in the world won't bring it to life. You've got to go You need to reach out and grab it.

And grab it today.

Starting right now, you need to stop wishin. Starting right now,you need to stop hoping. Starting right now, you need to stop wanting. And start making yourself better.

Starting right now, you need to start living the life you have always dreamed of living. Starting right now, you need to start making all of your wishes, hopes and dreams come true. Starting right now, you need to become the person you've always dreamed of becoming. And start living your dreams.

It all starts with you... starting right now.

The Bottom Line: Make today the super sensational day it deserves to be.
