The proverbial "American Dream" is alive and well. Make no mistake about it, living the American Dream is well within the reach of every American. While your idea and my idea of what the American Dream is may certainly differ, our country provides each of us the freedom to reach out and achieve any goal we truly want to accomplish.
But in order for you or I to live the American Dream, we must first wake up to achieve it. Far too many Americans have long ago quit dreaming about all of the great things they could accomplish with their lives and consequently have quit living as a result.
Instead of living the life they love and loving the life they live, they plod hopelessly along day after day after humdrum day, going nowhere fast. Instead of thriving, they have resigned themselves to a life of simply surviving. That is not the way a born winner's life is supposed to be lived. Not even close.
All of us were born with a profound need to succeed and a burning desire to be our absolute best. We can rekindle that burning, white heat passion for winning by showing the courage to dream once again.
We need to challenge ourselves to once again dream big dreams, exciting dreams and challenging dreams. Only these ambitious big time dreams, filled with passion and purpose, give us a reason to live. Only these kind of super charged dreams, laced with fervor and emotion, can fire us up, motivate us and move us to action.
Little dreams and tiny thoughts will never excite or motivate anybody to do anything. No, only the really big dreams will ever arouse our senses and stir our souls. These big time dreams are the very life blood of living. But dreaming is just the beginning. We need to wake up and start living life the way it was meant to be lived; chock full of fun, adventure and excitement. We could never dream of great things and worthy accomplishments if we were not capable of achieving them.
Average people spend the majority of their time dreaming of worthy accomplishments, while the real champions wake up and make them come true. You can make even the biggest of your biggest dreams a reality by waking up and living those dreams every day of your life.
Its time to answer that wake up call.
