"As long as a man stands in his own way, everything seems to be in his way."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Choices abound in life. There are right ways and wrong ways to do things. And there are always good ways and bad ways as well. In fact, there are so many different ways for you to do all sorts of different things it is virtually impossible to list them all.
So which way is the right way and which way is the wrong way? Which way is the good way and which way is the bad way? The answers to these questions depend entirely on you - and you alone.
Sometimes the choices you must make are relatively easy. So you make them and get on down the road. However, sometimes they're not so easy. As a matter of fact, sometimes they are downright difficult to make. Should you go this way - or that way? And which way is the right way? How you go about making these tough decisions will in large measure define the level of success you attain in life.
"From now on, I'll connect the dots my own way."
Let's face it, very few people enjoy making life's really tough choices. When it comes down to making those life altering decisions that can make us or break us, many folks choose to sit on the fence and make no choices at all. But can sitting on the fence get anyone anywhere close to where they truly want to go? Not a chance. So choices must be made.
So how do you know which choice is the right choice, especially when confronted with a whole host of alternatives? How do you know whether you should to go this way or that way or even some other way? Choosing the right way is not nearly as difficult or confusing as you probably make it on occasion.
"The way is not in the sky. The way is in the heart."
Instead of getting confused, trying to figure out which way to go, why not try something a little different? Rather than listening to everyone else's advice, why not listen to yourself for a change? That's right; you should seek guidance from yourself first. Deep down in your heart and soul, where it really counts, you will find the answer. Regardless of the number of available choices, there is one and only one choice that's just right for you.
That right choice can only be found by passionately pursuing your passions and fervently following your heart - wherever the path may lead. By listening to your heart, youll find the way, the right way, YOUR way.
Finding your way in life's constantly crazy, hectically hazy maze of choices is rarely an easy task. With people constantly telling you what to say, think and do, it's way too easy to get sidetracked and lose your focus. But if you're ever going to discover your own road to happiness and contentment, you've got to tune these people out - and turn yourself on from the inside out.
"Decide on what you think is right, and stick to it."
Far too often we fall victim to the whims and wishes of others, desperately trying to make everyone else around us happy. Instead of doing what we long to do, we follow the lead of others as the life we were born to live gets shoved to the back burner. Instead of following our instincts, we make wrong choices and not surprisingly, our lives head in the wrong direction. The only way you or I or anyone else is ever going to make our dreams come true is to, well... make our dreams come true.
If your life is not on the right track right now, don't despair. Chances are pretty good that you are looking on the outside for all of the right answers. And that's not where you are going to find them. All you need to do is simply stop, look and listen.
Stop worrying about what others say, think or do and focus on making your life everything you know it can be. Start looking within, listening to what your heart tells you to do and you will find the way. Then do it your way, right away, every single day for the rest of your life.
The Bottom Line: Find your way and you'll find the magic of living.
