Power Up Passages

Shake, Rattle and Roll.

Brought to you by
The Power Performance Program ©

March 30, 2007.

"Every wall is a door."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Have you ever experienced that queasy, uneasy feeling of being completely boxed in, as if somebody had constructed insurmountable walls all around you? With imposing, impregnable, seemingly invincible walls everywhere you look, a disheartening feeling of helplessness sets in. Fearing you have absolutely no where to go and no where to turn, the walls begin to close in - closer and closer and closer until you can barely breath. Have you ever been there before?

This unsettling feeling of hopelessness and desperation that comes with feeling boxed in can knock us down and even knock us out for the count if we are not careful. Rather than allowing these confining walls to impede or impair our daily lives, we need to fight back with everything we've got. And that means we must learn how to shake, rattle and roll every day.

"Shake yourself awake. Develop a hobby. Let the winds of enthusiasm sweep through you. Live today with gusto."
Dale Carnegie

First of all, you need to shake things up. If your life isn't turning out exactly the way you have always wanted it to be, then you need to immediately shake it up and make some changes right now. You need to get rid of the things you don't like about your life and replace them with all the good things you do like. Hey, you do have the right to make these choices in your life. Isn't it about time you started making them?

You will never lead the life you truly desire until you are doing the things you love to do every single day. Not every once in a while, but every day. It is your responsibility to find a way to pursue your dreams daily. Don't sit there and tell me it can't be done. You know better than that. You need to stop making excuses and start making things happen.

Further, you will never reach your full potential and be the best you were born to be until all of the self imposed restrictions, barriers and limitations you have placed on yourself are permanently removed. Since you put these walls up there in the first place, you can certainly remove them anytime you choose. Why not remove them right now? It is time to break out of your shell by shaking, shaking, shaking things up in your life. You need to shake out the bad, shake in the good and get shaking yourself.

"You've got to rattle your cage door. You've got to let them know that you're in there, and that you want out. Make noise. Cause trouble. You may not win right away, but you'll sure have a lot more fun."
Florynce Kennedy

Next, you should rattle off all of the things you want to accomplish in your life. In order to live the life you desire, you first need to write down anything and everything that will make your life better and more rewarding. Even if you have previously compiled a list of your goals, get that list out right now and start rattling off some even newer, bolder and bigger dreams.

Don't hold yourself back. Anything and everything you have ever dreamed of doing, of having, of being, of accomplishing, of achieving in your lifetime should be put down on paper. Then you need to open up and let your mind unleash its awesome creativity on how you can go about fulfilling these goals and objectives. Don't stifle, throttle or inhibit your imagination in any way. Instead, just let it rip and see what happens!

When you turn your mind loose and let it go completely wild, you will be amazed at how it can rattle off one great idea after another that can make every dream and aspiration you hold near and dear to come true. But ideas without action have no power.

"To say yes, you have to sweat and roll up your sleeves and plunge both hands into life up to the elbows."
Jean Anouilh

You need to put your plans into action right here and right now. That means you need to roll up your sleeves and get rolling. You should never sit around and allow even one precious day to slip through your fingers. You've got to cut loose and hold nothing back, aggressively pursuing your goals with feverish fervor. As you get your life moving in the right direction, you will quickly develop tidal wave of power-packed, positive-charged momentum that absolutely nothing can stop. Not even the tallest of walls.

There is not one valid reason why you should not be living the life you've always dreamed about. Not one! Once you fully comprehend the prolific power of your mind and its capacity for taking you wherever you wish to go, you'll be on your way. I encourage you to make choices and take chances. Your mind will pave the way. And best of all, those troublesome walls will come tumbling down for good.

When you put these three simple principles to work for you, you're going to SHAKE, RATTLE AND ROLLyour way to a lifetime of unbridled achievement and happiness. And you'll wonder why you waited so long.

The Bottom Line: It's time to live a life without limitations.
