What does the future hold in store for you? Now thats an interesting question, to say the least. Winners expect to have a great day every day and they are rarely disappointed. The would-be winners, on the other hand, are rarely interested in the future. Since they are incessantly preoccupied with all sorts of problems today, it shouldn't be all that surprising that they see a future loaded down with problems as well. Instead of dreaming of a great future, they dread what the future has in store for them.
I know first hand how crippling a doom and gloom attitude can be. It can sap your strength, erode your faith and stamp out your hope - leaving only a shattered spirit in its wake. Unfortunately, I have walked in those very uncomfortable shoes. I am not alone however. Chances are pretty good that all of us have at one time or another.
The great news is that you and I can overpower and eliminate negative conditioning from our lives by programming ourselves for success daily. You should start this exciting, invigorating, reconditioning process by making a list of the things you need to get done today. This "to do" list should be comprised of a number of activities that, when completed, move you closer to fulfilling your ultimate goals. These should be exciting goals, challenging goals, life changing goals. Only these kind of supercharged goals will stir you to action.
Then zero in on completing the most important thing on their your first, then move to the next important thing and so on down the list. Youll discover that the "not so important" things generally take care of themselves. As you systematically complete each item and methodically move down the list, you not only develop a healthy habit of prioritizing your goals, you also make substantial, quantitative progress towards attainment of your goals and fulfilling your destiny. Now youre cooking!
So what kind of day do you have in store for yourself? Why dont you take a few minutes right now and put your "shopping list" together? Assemble your list in a prioritized fashion, starting with the most important must do items. Then once you have your list in hand, its time to head for the store. Youll find that theres some truly remarkable times awaiting you there.
