Winners make the most of their time and as a result, they are constantly looking for more effective ways of doing things. While each of us is allotted the same 24 hours every day, winners are those unique individuals that consistently find ways to squeeze more living out of these 24 hours. Winners are successful at finding all sorts of ways to get things done and as a result, they get more things done.
On the other hand, the would-be winners in life are successful at finding all sorts of excuses and reasons why things "can't" be done. They are quick to tell us that they can't do this and they can't do that. One can't is followed by another can't and then another can't and so on. Can't, can't, can't, cant, cant. Instead of getting the job done, they leave behind an endless trail of "cants" and things left undone.
Without question, the word CAN'T is the most destructive word known to mankind. When someone tells you they can't do something, they are basically saying no to you, no to themselves and no to the rest of the world as well. Rather than show the courage and grit to do whatever it takes to get the job done, the would-be winners choose to quit and give in, thereby relinquishing control of their lives to someone else.
A winner will never quit or give up and will certainly never forfeit control of his or her life. Never. Let's face the facts nobody gives a hoot about what you can't do! It is imperative that you eliminate can't and other negative phrases from your vocabulary and give them the heave-ho once and for all. Can't didn't make America the best country on the face of this earth. Can't didn't put a man on the moon. As a matter of fact, nothing worthwhile was ever accomplished by saying the words I can't.
Instead, why not tell yourself that you can do it? After all, you must know by now that you can absolutely accomplish anything that you set your mind to doing. There should never be any "ifs, ands or buts" about that fact. In order to be your best and do your best, you need to get can't out of your life and substitute a no holds barred "can do" attitude in its place. After all, "I can do it" and "I will do it" sounds a lot better than "I can't do it, doesn't it?
