Power Up Passages

Fit To Be Untied.
December 12, 2002.

When it comes to living, do you feel optimistic, excited and energized about the life you are living or do you feel as though you are constantly tied up in knots? In a nutshell, are you fit to be tied or untied?

When you take a look at the people you know and associate with, how many of these people feel tied down by their jobs? Quite a few, I would wager. How many of these fit to be tied folks are also tied to the same old routine day after day? More than you can count, right? All right, one more question. How many of these people are also tied to the same lousy results every day of their lives?

You are beginning to see the picture, aren't you? Nobody is "fit" when they allow themselves to be tied down. As a matter of fact, each and every one of us are fit to be untied. Then, and only then, when all the limitations have been finally lifted once and for all, will we be able to do our best and be our best every day.

Remember, you are never physically tied to a dreary, dead end job or crummy life. Not at all. As a matter of fact, feeling tied down or tied up is in reality a figment of your imagination, created by negative conditioning over a prolonged period of time. Without question, your prior negative conditioning can cause you to set artificial limits on what you believe you are capable of achieving, having and being.

While you may temporarily be mentally tied to this or that, you can immediately untie and unbind yourself the very moment you decide to take off the shackles and take charge of your life. Yes, believe you me, you do have that choice. You need to quit inhibiting your future by allowing your current resources to place a limit what you can achieve next week, next month and next year. You need to constantly remind yourself that your past does not equal your future.

You need to begin thinking in terms of what you want to become and what you want to achieve in your life. The minute you "untie" yourself, your mind will immediately begin uncovering opportunities you never before knew existed. There is no better time than right now to remove the blinders and set yourself free to see and experience a different, exciting world full of fun and adventure.

When you finally untie yourself once and for all, nothing will ever hold you back again.

You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.
Zig Ziglar

Do not wait; the time will never be 'just right'. Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.
Napoleon Hill

It doesn't take talent to hustle.
H. Jackson Brown

Take time to deliberate, but when the time for action has arrived, stop thinking and go in.
Napoleon Bonaparte

Let him who would move the world, first move himself.
