Power Up Passages

Seeing The Big Picture.
December 6, 2002.

Do you presently think in super BIG terms? When I say super BIG, I mean SUPER BIG, almost larger than life. BIG, HUGE, GIGANTIC, ENORMOUS -- these are words which a winner can easily relate to.

The very best have learned how to see the BIG picture where anything and everything is well within their reach.

How about you? Do you set super BIG and super exciting goals and then work in a super smart fashion to accomplish them? Do you find yourself consistently getting more done in a lot less time?

If you are unable to answer these proceeding questions with an unequivocal yes, don’t hit the panic button just yet. Remember, many years of prior negative programming must be purged from your system. You just need to keep working your reconditioning program until you begin thinking in super BIG terms once again.

Thinking BIG is relatively easy once you get the hang of it. After all, each of us had super BIG dreams early in life. We easily imagined ourselves accomplishing some truly remarkable things. We could actually see and feel ourselves living out our wildest dreams.

However, over time a number of us have almost forgotten how to think super BIG thoughts any more. We have literally become a casualty of the pessimistic, negative, defeatist influences that inundate our existence daily. We are so caught up in the struggle of making ends meet and just getting through the day that we have almost lost our ability to dream any longer.

It is imperative that we begin seeing that super BIG picture once again. Seeing the BIG picture requires that you unshackle your mind and set it free to vividly envision anything and everything you have ever wanted to achieve.

You need to see and feel yourself living life on your terms, where being your best and doing your best is the name of the game. Instead of setting limitations on yourself, you need to challenge yourself to go even farther than you went the day before.

Never forget that any thought you can conceive in your mind and believe in your heart, you can most assuredly achieve in your life. When you get accustomed to letting your mind cut loose and take off, your mind will once again be fully immersed with all sorts of super BIG ideas and super BIG thoughts.

You need to grab these ideas with all of your might and hold on tight -- and vow to start making your life the exciting, rewarding, BIG time adventure it deserves to be.

There is more to us than we know. If we can be made to see it, perhaps for the rest of our lives we will be unwilling to settle for less.
Kurt Hahn

Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps down new roads armed with nothing but their own vision.
Ayn Rand

Human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes.
Norman Vincent Peale

It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that they are difficult.
